EPISODE 8

                         

Dolce wasn’t still happy despite her scholarship why? Because she wish she and her twin brother (Donna) was giving the scholarship together 

                         

After which they all leave the WAEC office as they walk home blissfully. As they walk they wished Dolce congratulations as she was not still deeply excited because all she had in her mind were thoughts of her twin brother. What a passionate twin sister she was.

AT NIGHT

                    

Dolce, Donna and their parents are all in the sitting room discussing about her success

Mr. Ralph:  Dolce my dear, thanks for the fortune and blessing which you have brought to this house, I’m really ecstatic

And i pray that this blessing will go round to everyone as well as your twin brother

 

All echoes Amen!

Mrs. Ralph:  You have been given a direct admission through WAEC to any University of your choice, what a stunning blessing is this to our family.

Donna:  Dolce, I congratulate you for this blessing and I pray the lord will continue to favour you.

Dolce:  Amen!

Dolce:  This blessing isn’t meant for me alone, it’s meant for everyone of us.

Mrs. Ralph:  what a cheerful girl. Thank you.

Mr. Ralph:  Not to forget, which school will you be applying for now?

Mr. Ralph:  Yeah that’s true.

Donna:  University of Ilorin I think?

Dolce:  Yes, as if you’ve studied my mind (laughs)

Mr. Ralph:  That’s fabulous and what are you intending to study there?

Dolce:  I want to study English language and Linguistic study

Donna:  Wow! (Applause while standing for her)

Mrs. Ralph:  It’s okay just continue to be yourself in whatever thing you do.

Dolce:  Thanks ma, I will.

                       

Discussion continues inside till the curtain falls.

AFTER 2 MONTH

                    

Dolce was in the sitting room with her parents watching television programme as Donna rushes in with his friend Oscar.

                   

Donna rushes in shouting

Parents:  What’s the problem?

                    

Immediately he goes on his kneels as he begins singing series of worship songs. As he was singing these worship songs his parents in collaboration with Dolce and Oscar join him in singing. After finishes singing his parents asks him what really happens that makes him to be singing.

Mrs. Ralph:  What happen dear?

Mr. Ralph:  For you to have sung so much like this what really happen?

                

 They are already curious about his response as Oscar breaks the news

Oscar:  Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) has given him admission to study law.

Wow! (All shouts as they feel delightful)

Mrs. Ralph:  Thank you lord. Blessing turn two.

                 

Immediately Mrs. Ralph goes on her kneels as she starts her own worship song as everyone backs her up with the songs till the curtain falls.

AFTER TWO WEEKS

                        

Two weeks after Dolce was in her room packing her luggages for school as Donna walks in to accompany her as they speak. 

Donna:  Dolce you’re now going to school please don’t forget our parents oh!

Dolce:  Sure, why will i forget them?

Donna: Keep being curious as you have always been at home, always read and never allow anything to distract you from being prosperous.

Dolce:  I will dear, Thanks for the brotherly advice.

Donna:  It’s a pleasure, what are we for. When you’ve fully settled over there I’II like to pay you a visit.

Dolce:  Sure. You’re always welcome.

Donna:  meanwhile (looks stylishly) never mind (Laughs)

When you get there be very careful because institution boys aren’t joking (Laughs)

Dolce:  Sure thanks dear and precisely you will be going to school in two weeks time.

Donna:  Yes, resumption date is slated to two weeks time from now.

*Dolce:* Just be good over there and I’II always call to check on you.

*Donna:* Thanks dear. Let’s go so that you won’t get there late

*Dolce:* Okay dear thanks

                      

 Both walk to the sitting room to meet their parents. Dolce was given advice to by her parents as she leaves for school while Donna accompained her out with her loads to the park as *the curtain falls.*

*AT NIGHT*

                

Oscar was in his room pondering all alone.

*Oscar:* God what’s my offence?

*Oscar:* God what have I done wrong?

*Oscar:* Even if I’ve wronged you, you should have forgiven me.

*Oscar:* God, we are three friends and you’ve given two of them admission, what about mine?

*Oscar:* Despite how I pray often to you God, Despite how diligent I am in your presence, why me God?

*Oscar:* God, if it’s brilliancy you gave me that.

*Oscar:* If is knowledge, you’ve given me that.

*Oscar:* If it’s intelligence, You God gave me that. 

*Oscar:* So why God? (Cries)

*Oscar:* Why will it be me?

*Oscar:* God it shouldn’t have been me.

*Oscar:* Will my admission still come through?

*Oscar:* When will that be?

*Oscar:* God please I look up to you

                   

Oscar continues pondering in his room. Precisely will Oscar still be giving admission?  *the curtain falls.*
